Moses ordained Aaron and anointed him with holy oil; it became an everlasting covenant for him and for his descendants for as long as heaven lasts, to minister to God, to be a priest at the same time, and to bless his people in his name.
Before him there were none so beautiful, even from the beginning.
Moses ordained Aaron to office by pouring the sacred anointing oil over his head. An eternal covenant was made with him and his descendants, that they would serve the Lord as his priests and bless the people in the Lord's name.
For Moses ordained him and anointed him with the holy oil, In a lasting covenant with him and his family, as permanent as the heavens, That he should serve God in the priesthood and bless the people in his name.
